The Crazy Continues...

 Yes, I am going to blog about Lady Gaga. And no, I will not be talking about her awkward sometimes refreshing wardrobe choices.
  1.  Lady Gaga’s real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta. She was born in New York City, New York.
  2.  Lady Gaga’s inspirations as a singer include Madonna, Michael Jackson, the Queen and David Bowie.
  3.  This controversial and intriguing pop star is “left-handed”.
  4.  She is unique especially when it comes to fashion where she stated fashion as a source of inspiration for her songwriting and performances.
  5.  Lady Gaga was ranked the 73rd Artist of the 2000–2010 decade by Billboard.
  6. For the record, as of August 2010, Gaga has sold more than 15 million albums and 51 million singles worldwide.
  7.  Time magazine included Lady Gaga in its annual Time 100 list of the most influential people and in the 100 Most Powerful and Influential celebrities in the world.
  8. Forbes placed Lady Gaga at number seven on their annual list of the World's 100 Most Powerful Women.
  9.  She is of Italian-American descent and the eldest child of Joseph Germanotta, internet entrepreneur, and Cynthia (née Bisset).
  10.  At a very tender age of 4, she already knew how to play the piano 
  11. When she was 14, she began performing at open mic nights.
  12.  Lady gaga is an avid thespian in high school musicals and portrayed lead roles as Philia in “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” and Adelaide in “Guys and Dolls”.
  13.  During her academic life in high school she was "very dedicated, very studious, and much disciplined" and admitted to be "a bit insecure".
  14.  This American pop singer was born March 28, 1986 and started performing in the rock music scene of Lower East Side in New York City.
  15.  At 17, she enrolled at Tisch School of the Arts New York University and later signed with Streamline Records.
  16.  A songwriter herself, her exceptional talent was noticed by another song-writer Akon who recognized her vocal abilities and signed her to his own label, Kon Live Distribution.
  17.  Lady Gaga’s debut album is “The Fame”. It was released on August 19, 2008 and reached number one in the UK, Canada, Austria, Germany and Ireland.
  18.  The Fame’s first two singles, “Poker Face” and “Just Dance” became international number-one hits, topping the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States as well as the charts of other countries.
  19. “The Fame” earned 6 Grammy Award nominations and won the awards for Best Dance Recording and Best Electronic Dance Album for "Poker Face".
